Lloyd's Register, founded in 1760, is a British and also the oldest insurance and maritime classification company.
The company is an organization which establishes and applies technical standards to the project, to the construction and to the inspection of the opportunities concerning the navy, including ships, offshore structures, the nuclear power field as well as the rail transportation.
