It ensures the control and the follow-up of the moulding and core-making methods by carrying out
mechanical tests on sand samples.
The control department ensures and carries out the mechanical tests, the micrographies and all other types of controls allowing the validation of the compliance of the alloys.
The controllers are trained and certified by international COFREND II approvals for non destructive
ultrasound controls and liquid penetrating exams.
The controls by radiography or by gammagraphies are subcontracted to a certified and approved company.
The dimensional control is carried out with the aid of a 3D measuring device.
